Skid redux thingymajig

(Alternative title: dA has fallen out of favour with me and you may have noticed I barely ever even show up, let alone post, but yet here I am anyway and here's a pic for y'all to ignore. Alos, I post my stuff to tumblr if ya wanna look there instead.)

Skid. Skiiiiid. Oh boy, it's-a Skid. I probably went on about this before, but in case I haven't, here's the jig of things: He was an awful clone character from back when they were in fashion, I had a lame story for him and some other characters and urgh it was bad. So bad. However, I've always liked his design, partly because he's not all that far from a 'normal' Pachirisu, he's drawn differently, partly because it's me doing the drawing lol but the main difference is the chevron tips on the points of blue areas and some extra fluff. Despite his crapass backstory he's not really a recolour and therefore I don't feel bad about drawing him, not now I've decided to completely recon everything and salvage only what I think is okay (not much) for anything I do in the future with him. If anything at all really, but having a clean slate is nice.

And yeah, Pachirisu as a species doesn't appeal to me. It's a chu clone with more biting based moves than the others, at least Emolga is duel-typed (Plusle and Minun are worse gimmics, but that's another story) and yeah I think the official design is stupid because the stupid tiny body compared to head and tail size and stupid, stupid tiny nub limbs. What the appeal is, I sure dunno but nuurgh not my cuppa tea anyways.

Uhh yeah, I'd also like to say I think I've improved with drawing Skid too yay uwu
